Registration

Registration for the practical course “Modern Software Tools in Power Engineering” in the summer term 2025 is open for all students in the campus management portal from 24.02.2025 until 23.04.2025.

The number of participants is limited to 12. If necessary, the order of registration determines the possibility of participation. Please address any questions regarding registration by e-mail to: sekretariat∂ieh.kit.edu. The registration status for all on the waiting list will be communicated on 24.04.2025.

The following weekly sessions are scheduled for the practical course:

Mondays (9 dates in total during the lecture period), 2 pm – 6 pm

The practical course begins with an introductory event on Monday, 28.04.2025. Further information on the three courses will be given in this event. (Room 011, Building 30.36, 3 pm)

Participants should be familiar with the content of the lectures “Calculation of Energy Grids”, “Energy Transmission and Grid Control”, and “High Voltage Technology”. The lectures can also be attended in parallel. Basic PC skills are also required.
